English armies where more famed for the firepower of their longbows and the discipline and ferocity of their infantry. English Calvary units would be medium/heavy but not of the same quality as say swadians. Thats a fact that persisted throughout medieval history up until and including the napoleonic era. English Calvary was pretty poor compared to many continental nations. Kite shields medium armour, armed with spears and swords. An English faction if it existed (why not add one ) Imo should consist of Longbowmen, similar to Veigir Marksmen, Infantry, probably somwhere between swadian and vegir in type. I'd say the Swadian origin would have French/German possibly Austrain influence. I see no link between the Swadians and an English army, even less between Welsh/Scottish/Irish. Join whatever faction you want, let blood be spilled without limits, and defeat your enemies with the strenght of your arms and the might of. The mod is set up in 'ivanhoe-style', which means lots of cool units, heroes, mercenaries etc. on them their main castles had a lot of Rhodok Sergeants and Sharpshooters. A Mount & Blade Warband modifications, set in Middle-Earth during the Third age, around the War of the Ring. Veigirs Seem to come from eastern europe, the units back this theory up, plus the term 'Boyar' is definately of eastern european/Russian origin.
